Company values, well-being programs, development and community giving.

We are firm believers in the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that is best summarized through our proactive work culture.  Marathon Nation is our internal name for our company, describing the nearly 500 ambassadors nationwide that make up our workforce. It also describes the Marathon Health culture. Our ambassadors are unified through programs created to inspire ourselves, the employees we work with, and the communities we serve. Marathon Nation offers four distinct programs to support our mission to grow as individuals and lead healthier lives. Multiple initiatives and opportunities are available within each program to connect, engage and support our ambassadors across the country.

NEW_WebIcon_Code.jpgAmbassadors Code promotes Marathon Health’s six core values and way of being. To keep the Code alive, we select a monthly S.T.A.R. (Special Thanks and Recognition) Award recognizing an ambassador each month for his/her exemplary performance. Other recognition includes the Torchbearer program, in which an ambassador is selected three times per year to partner with executive leadership to develop new ideas and implement their own initiatives. Our Ambassadors Cares support program also connects ambassadors across the nation through simple outreach in their own time of need or celebration.

NEW_WebIcon_WellBeing.jpgAmbassadors Well-Being educates, supports, and inspires our ambassadors to focus on their own health and well-being to lead healthy and rewarding lives. This includes the LIVE IT program initiatives - health challenges launched throughout the year to help our ambassadors meet personal and team goals. All ambassadors also have access to their own patient health record (PHR) in the Marathon Health portal with access to all of the interactive tools and education we offer.

NEW_WebIcon_Together.jpgAmbassadors Together is a community giving program to inspire and support our ambassadors' charity initiatives and volunteering within their own communities. Each quarter, four ambassadors or teams are recognized for their volunteer efforts by having $250 donated in their name to support the non-profit where they volunteer. Volunteer efforts in 2016 supported Green Up Day, Vermont Special Olympics Penguin Plunge, Steps to End Domestic Violence, Salvation Army Angel Tree, United Way Workplace Campaign, and SlamDiabetes Wiffle Ball Tournament.

Ambassadors University provides resources and materials to support ambassadors with EMR training, clinical education, leadership, and personal and professional development opportunities.
