Access to primary care services at the workplace is one of the best health benefits you can offer your employees. This saves time away from work and care is delivered at 50% of the typical cost of these services.  The mid-level clinician—either a nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant—is licensed to provide urgent and minor acute care and write prescriptions, treat work-related injuries, perform annual exams and screenings, and offer women’s healthcare. The non-work related minor acute care includes treatment for infections, sprains and strains, rashes, gastrointestinal, and first response for onsite emergencies. Other services may include referral management, vaccines and immunizations, and short term disability management.

By offering primary care, your employees have a convenient option for onsite treatment of minor and routine primary care needs, such as treatment of acute infections.  We’ll coordinate care with the primary care physician, including providing access to the personal health record if authorized by the employee.  In all cases, our goal is to assure that the right care is provided by the right provider, in the right setting at the right time.
